Boris Johnson could give father, sister and wife peerages in resignation honours list
The former prime minister has already given a peerage to his brother, Jo, after he stepped down as an MP in 2020.
Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is a British politician and writer serving as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party since July 2019. He was Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs 2016-2018 and Mayor of London 2008-2016. Johnson has been Member of Parliament (MP) for Uxbridge and South Ruislip since 2015 and was previously MP for Henley from 2001 to 2008. He has been described as adhering to the ideology of one-nation and national conservatism.

Tory MPs in Labour-facing seats say there are growing numbers of people who insist they will only vote Tory if Boris is leading them.
The former prime minister has earned almost £5 million in the past 12 months, on top of the £84,000 salary he still receives as a backbench MP.
Johnson had previously told reporters that Richard Sharp "knew absolutely nothing about my finances, I can tell you that for 100% ding-dang sure".
