A man is to appear in court after being caught with a PIG outside a nightclub.

Thomas Murphy-Hankin, 26, was arrested after being found shouting and screaming in the street in Norwich.

He was found to have a pig with him, which is illegal as it was running loose.

Murphy-Hankin was arrested at around 10am on Wednesday before being charged with having a pig untethered and loose on a public highway.

He is also accused of a public order offence and having a dog dangerously out of control in a public place.

Murphy-Hankin, of no fixed abode, is due to appear before Norwich Magistrates later today (thu).

Sergeant Mark Shepherd, community sergeant for the Norwich East Safer Neighbourhood Team, took to social media following the incident.

He tweeted: “A male has been remanded in custody after committing a public order offence, having his dogs dangerously out of control and having his pig untethered on #PrinceOfWalesRd #Noriwch (sic) #Policing @NorfolkPolice @NorwichPoliceUK #JobLikeNoOther.”
